Tutorials...

Well it is a nice dry Sunday morning here in Sheffield, not very bright, I don't mind that as long as it stays dry while we are out.

I have had a few emails asking how I make my paper roses, and other flowers. This got me thinking that maybe I should write a tutorial. For those of you that can get to the studio I will be making some in class one Wednesday evening on craft night, but for those of those of you who live further a field I will write a tutorial.
Many, many years ago when I was in my teens I lived in Eyam, Derbyshire, many of you will have heard of it as the plague village and visited on a school trip at some time. During the summer holidays all the people of the village made paper flowers for decorating out side the houses also lorries, tractors, cars etc etc... were decorated for the for our village carnival which was held each September. The procession of decorated vehicles travelled up and down the full length of the village twice on carnival Saturday once in the afternoon and again in the evening.
When I get back I will write a paper flower tutorial... so watch this space as they say. What ever you are doing today, have a great and if you are off to Harrogate enjoy and don't spend too much !! lol
