Ava's first taste of chocolate muffin!

For this weeks card class I made a an 8 x 8 blue and white snowflake card. I am really enjoying making large cards at the moment. I creased and folded some white cardstock held the folds in place with some small silver brads. Cut a large snowflake with cuttlebug die, added some glamour dust and some bling. Shaped the front of the card to fit up to the folded panel, covered front and part of inside with some blue snowflake paper added some more bling and a a little stickles.

Here is a card Jill made using a Crafty Indiviual stamp and distress inks.

I just love hessian bow.

Last weekend Ava had her first taste of chocolate muffin...

that little smiling face say's it all... doesn't it??

she really enjoyed it!!

can't wait to scrap theese!!

Scrapbooking and Peanut butter buns!!

A couple of pictures of the layout from tonight's scrapbooking class. Products used: Total round templates from Colour my world, which I consider to be a must have for any scrapbooker, Basic Grey Whisteria, Bazzil, MS Cosmos and Cornflower, Paper shapers Retro punch in 3 sizes and finished of with a Viva Decor gold pearl pen for the flower centres.

Oooh just notice one of the flowers has lost it's centre!! must go and fix that.

You will already have seen this picture of Ava as I have used it before in a layout, it is Ava showing her first signs of independance wanting to sit on the bench and not on anyones knee!!

Tonight we all had a lovely surprise, a visit from little Ava during the class! not sure what she was thinking though! lol The class was very full tonight and Ava hasn't been to the studio when there has been as many people in, she took it all in her stride though and had a good look at everyone and what they were doing...you have to sew the seed while they are young! lol it won't be long before she will be joining us on a regular basis!! Oh I do hope so finger crossed :-)

The diet went out of the window again tonight when Kelly brought home made peanut butter buns to have with our coffee! Oh they were just the yummiest!! Thanks Kelly they were gorgeous!

The blogoversary blog candy will be revealed tomorrow, sorry didn't get time to sort it today, I will make it a priority tomorrow! promise :-)

Blog Anni, Blog Candy and annoying phone calls!!

Now I know from past experience that blogging is a great way to pass on info and also learn useful stuff apart from crafting. What I am interested to learn is does anyone know or has anyone had this happen to them...our phone keeps ringing and when we answer, it beeps like a fax machine, we have dialed 1471 and the number is 0000 I was just wondering if it was a scam of some sorts. I have now had 3 bank cards cancelled because of different fraud scams cloned etc yes 3 all attached to different accounts!! Which is making me a very untrusting and very suspicious person.
So if you know anything that will put my mind at rest or if it is a scam what I have to do, I would be very grateful. I know it might be Innocent, better to be safe than sorry and it is also very annoying!! as it is ringing every ten minutes or so. Sorry if I am rambling! :-)

On a better note. I can't believe that this week is my 1st blog Anni, it has gone soooo fast!! So I thought we would have some blog candy to mark the occasion! :-)
Thank every one for there lovely comments and I have meet so many lovely people through my blog and some great crafting buddies. I will post the Candy with what you have to blog tonight, so watch this space as they say!! lol

Today she looked very tall, she like to walk with the furniture and is very confident. Ava loves taking the pots of Pardro clay off the shelf and building them! today we had some music on so she had a little dance and sing, well it was more like a bit of a rock from side to side :-)lol as always she really enjoyed herself.

Blogging two days in a row, and twice yesterday!! Don't worry I won't be able to keep it up!! lol

Two scrapbooking classes today, this afternoons layout was a repeat of last weeks black and orange... black cardstock for the background Bo Bunny Love Shack for the frame and BM onion gravy fort the centre

we used Templates with an Edge for the frame, Tims stamps, spiced marmalade distress ink, black and timber brown Staz on and Viva Decor black pearl pens. Pat brought home made parkin to have with our coffee. Thank you Pat it was delicious.

Tonights layout had vintage/distressed look, but not as stressed as the class!! We made flowers with pleated strips of paper stuck onto a a circular punched base... the pleated flowers kept lifting off the base and sort of jumping on the table like little frogs!! lol glue, sticky pads, double sided taped and even punches were used to hold them down!!! Sue had brought chocolate fingers to have with our coffee and we finished of the parkin, after that the flowers seemed much better!! lol Thanks Sue they were yummy!
