It seems such a long time since I last blogged. I blooged I was better and then the dreaded head ache returned. I now have some new glasses with tinted lenses so I am hoping they do the trick. Thank you for your lovely comments and kind words it means a lot. I hope over the next few days to pop over and pay you all a visit and catch up on what you have all been busy doing. Anyway the good news I have still managed some crafting.

Way back in January I joined in with WOYWW and my WIP (work in progress) then was a book called 'A Stitch In Time' Well at last it is now finished and on the new timetable

Inside the book amongst the pages and pockets is a removable canvas and felt pins and needle case.

Also on the new timetable canvas tags, book marks and key rings.

Once Upon A Springtime...

Remember the box I had saved from Christmas which had the ornaments in?

This was it after a crackle paint effect.

This is what it looks like now...

Theme: I love Fairies

I am still looking out for a few more bits and pieces to add... any ideas what it needs???

Each compartmet is 10cm x10cm x 4cm deep so there is lots of room still to fill.

The fairies, postcards, backing paper are all cut from Graphic 45 papers Once Opon a Spring Time

Scrapbooking

Yippeee!! It's Friday and thank goodness, what a week I've had...

Last night was our weekly scrapbooking crop in the studio and another great night it was too. Thank you ladies for another very enjoyable evening. Part way through the evening I was actually wondering if I was at a crop our in the doctors waiting room, the things that I hear, it is an education.... lol
This is my layout we used the Watercolour Rainbow paper collection from Prima, Bazzill cardstock in pink and blue and pearl pen for the centres of the flowers. I have added a Zva swirl which I cut in half to finish off.

So all I can say is, thank crunchie its Friday.

What ever you are doing this weekend make sure you have a great time.

Bees Wax Canvas

We had a fab night last night in the studio. We had the melt pots and bees wax out again.
We made slightly smaller canvases this time 8" x 8" with a sewing theme. Thanks ladies, very enjoyable night.
I used Claudines studio paints in Tradition Tan, Sky Blue and Stable Brown. Stamped in Timber Brown StazOn on to a dress pattern. Love how it shows parts of the pattern through. When using dress makers tissue it gives a darker aged look to the finshed canvas than if using white tissues.

WOYWW

This is my crafty space this morning back on the dinning room table. Love my new work area in my craft room but love being able to look out the window while crafting, more....

Thought I would join in with WOYWW this week  as I have not joined in for ages

Now the InkGold has been added to all the edges I have started making my ebellies to decorate the inside of each compartment. I have chosen a to keep it very neutral with just a hint of colour... will see how it goes,  my projects have a habit of changing mid stream and never turn out how they set off. lol Isn't that what crafting is all about no rights or wrongs just enjoying?

Looking forward to visiting all you other WOYWW ers and if you not sure whats going on here pop over to Julias and find out more and maybe even join in, its a great snoop...
