Going Round in Circles

It is week 18 over on Anything Goes and the theme is
'Going Round In Circles' and that is just what I feel like I have been doing for the last few days! lol

We have had delivery after delivery at the Craft Den over the last couple of weeks. Everyday we have had lots of yummy goodies arriving, fabulous Christmas papers from Black Market Paper Society, DCWV, Bo Bunny, Craftwork cards, Dovecraft, the new EK Success border punches which are absolutely fabulous, they punch through heavy cardstock with ease the designs include: cupcakes, paw prints, butterflies, snowflakes. The new stuff has not made it onto the website, in fact some stuff has not been making it onto the shelves it has been flying out the door so so fast!

Now for this weeks challenge our DT have been very creative again this week, so why not pop over to our challenge blog Anything Goes and see what they have been up too. We also very pleased to announce we have a new DT member Kerry aka A girl who just love to craft. Happy crafting Kerry and we hope you enjoy being on the team.

It was Kerry's birthday last week...now I can blog the card I made

It fits this weeks challenge Tilda blowing bubbles on a circle nestie, with the Magnolia Bubbles papers layered on Lilac Bazzill, Prima flowers with circle message.

I am still experiencing major problems with blogger and uploading pictures is an absolute nightmare. I have just changed my setting back to the old version of blogger and managed to load these tonight. This version is not going to be available for much longer so not sure what will happen then. Just wondered if anyone else had the same problem??

Peacock Lane card

For this card I have used Peacock Lane papers from Bo Bunny, my favorite stamp 'Daisy' coloured with Copics round doily which I have cut in half and pleated behind a Prima fabric flower a couple of heart pins and a charm finished of with punched foliage.

I added turquoise liquid pearl pen to the centres of the, err, not sure if they are leaves or flowers.

and by special request, drum roll please....

Ava

Ava came to spend the day with me last week, while her Mum and Dad were  busy moving house, we had a great time, drawing, colouring, reading books and playing with stickers.

Grand- daughters...the best thing since sliced bread. :-)

Take care and Happy Crafting.

Gone Fishing!

One of our friends is 50 tomorrow and his hobby is fishing. I took these pics and then decided to add more detail, but I thought I would still share them.

I thought the hook should have some bait on it.

For the inside I stamped some fish on shrink plastic coloured with chalk and after shrinking, hung them on nylon thread added a basket and some reeds

a close up of the fish. I decorated both sides of the card inside and added more decoupaged fish similar to the outside of the card also reeds etc and didn't take pictures :-(

15 September 2010

This is our card for Bobbie I was going to post this Monday but for some reason blogger would not blog, it just would not upload any piccies, so I gave in.

The papers are Basic Grey 'Cappella' and one of my favorite magnolia stamps Sweet Tilda, this stamp reminds me of Ava as do a lot of the Tilda images.

I have coloured the image with DI Victorian Velvet for her dress and shoes. Tattered Rose for her face, arms and legs. Frayed Burlap and Scattered Straw on the hair.

I have added a heart shaped doily a few flowers and punched foilage, heart charm and a fabric Prima flower all finished of with Stickles.

Septembers ATC's theme is 'Oriental' the same as this weeks challenge.

I will blog my Oriental card tomorrow.

Happy crafting Lynne xx

Week 16 over at Anything Goes

Don't the weeks just fly by? It is already Week 16 over at 'Anything Goes'
and the theme this week is 'Oriental'
We are a bit late, well a whole day as we have had major blogger problems again! It just did not want to play ball at all. Thanks to Chanelle she has persevered and got it published.

So if you get chance pop over and have a look what our creative DT have been up to and it might inspire you to join in, and don't forget like our name says 'Anything Goes' cards, scrapbook pages, mini books, ATC's, tags, what ever you fancy making as long as it is Oriental we would love to see it.

Birthday wishes

I'm back! We had a lovely ten day break and then things have been very hectic around here ever since to say the least. More on what we have been up to later.

It is my daughters birthday tomorrow, here is the card my Mum asked me to make for her. I have used Distress inks to colour the image. Colours used: Tattered Rose, Milled Lavender, Dusty Concord, Scattered Straw, Frayed Burlap and Barn Door.

Punched and layered a deep edge border off setting it to give a shadow effect and trimming with wide glittered organza ribbon. A Prima flower arrangement finished off with punched leaves.

I have taken to pieces a Prima fabric flower added a brad and charm

side view showing the punched border and flowers with the bling centre.

Lots of new stock now in the studio including Art Bin Storage boxes, assorted albums, two new 7 Gypsies paper ranges, some fabulous Christmas Bo Bunny and Black Market Paper Society papers and the Magnolia stamps, dies and papers are due in on Tuesday.

Hope you are all having a great weekend.
Happy crafting, Lynne xx

Fingers crossed that this will now publish!
