We are having an In the night garden evening...

what are you doing to see the New Year In??

The family are coming over later and staying the night. We are baby sitting Ava for a couple of hours, hurray! can't wait. It will probably be another in the night night garden evening, with Upsy Daisy, Makka Pakka, Ninky Nonk, Iggle Piggly and friends. lol Ava got a lovely Upsy Daisy dressing gown for Christmas which she looks gorgeous in, along with so many other presents she hasn't opened them all yet, just unwrapped, so every day we get a new toy to play with, everyday is just like Christmas!! lol.

I have not had much time for blog hopping and leaving comments over the last few days so I hope to catch up today. I love reading all your blogs and looking at what you have all been busy making.

Christmas cards and snow...

It is a very wet miserable dull morning here in Sheffield. The snow has nearly all gone and most of all the ice has nearly all melted.

A few more of the cards I made before Christmas... now I know they have arrived safely I can share them with you.

It was nice on the run up to Christmas watching the snow through the window giving a lovely wintry Christmassy feel, but not very nice if you had to travel.

My dogs both love the snow and just wanted to stay out and play, just like children. Ike won't go out when it is raining and when it is snowing he won't come back in!!

Nice change...

While in the midst of making and finishing off Christmas cards my Mum asked me to make a card similar to the one I made for her birthday, so here it is.

It was a pleasant change to make a birthday card after all the Christmas ones.

The card is 8"x8", a mix of Bo Bunny papers with DCWV Nana's nursery, Sugar Nellie stamp coloured with Copics, Viva Decor liquid pearl pen, flowers, brads and charms.

Hope you are all well on the way to finishing off your Christmas preparations. I have another couple of cards to make before I hit the sack, so better get on.

Quick Christmas cards.

A few quick Christmas cards I made last week for orders... in a hurry!!
I used the Bo Bunny St Nick stamp, lightly coloured with red water colour pencil used dry, Paper Artsy Rum & Raisin Christmas papers, only 3 of the designs in this pack are Christmas the rest can be used for all occasions. Matted and layered with a dark forest green card stock punched with a Martha Stewart punch.

This order was nothing with flowers or cute!! I have used a glittered Christmas tree sticker, blinged it up with some gems, Bo Bunny St Nick and double dot paper, Cuttlebug snowflake die, added some white tulle and a couple of Craftwork cards sentiments.

It's that time of year again, cards, shopping...

Sorry for lack of blogging this last few days, life just seems to get taken over at this time of year, card making, shopping, more card making, more shopping... I spent a lovely day shopping in Chesterfield with my daughter on Monday, we meet up with Ben and Ava for breakfast in BHS.

Ava can recommend the sausage and beans

she really got tucked in to them

mmmm getting the hang of this photo lark now...

BH put our trimmings up on Saturday and a few twinkling lights around the shelves. I haven't been to get the tree yet! When Ava came to visit her little face was a picture... she spent the whole time looking round, pointing and smiling. Here are a couple of pics with Grandad looking at the fairy lights, the pictures are a little bit dark, Ava is pointing behind her to the lights.

Look at this beautiful card I have received from some of my lovely ladies who attend my classes and workshops. It has some beautiful messages written inside, I filled up when I read it... thank you to you all, it means so much...thank you

and my present... THANK YOU. I was a bit overwhelmed on Wednesday as you all know...

and here's why...this lovely reindeer has a cotton bag tied to it which was stuffed with Meadowhall gift vouchers!!

How lucky am I?
I have also received this gorgeous basket of plants from Irene, thank you Irene...
