Here is my page from Thursday nights scrapbooking class at Craft Den studio.

The papers are from Bo Bunny Sophie collection. The die cut trees, hearts and ticket are from T!ms Alterations range - Pine Tree, Heart and Ticket dies. Martha Stewart Border and Crown punch.

We did a crackle paint technique on wooden heart shapes.

Hope you all have a great weekend.

Where have all the smarties gone?

Good morning all. The sun is shining here in Sheffield this morning, which is a welcome sight after all the rain we had yesterday.

This mornings layout is one I have made for my Mums 12 x 12 album.

The spotty backing paper is from the Bo Bunny Jazmyne collection.
The letters are cut with the Storybook cartridge on the Cricut.

The pictures are from October 2010 When Ava came for a postphoned birthday tea with her Granddad. Ava was poorly when it was BH birthday. Ava came with a large smartie cake which she sat holding on to until  her Grandad arrived home. After tea Ava tucked into the cake and when we were all busy clearing the table, washing pots and having a natter, Ava was busy helping herself to the Smarties off the top of the cake.

When Grandad asked her where all the Smarties had gone, Ava opened her mouth wide.
We all laughed, it was just so good to see her better again and eating...

Hope you all have a good day and what ever you are doing Enjoy.

What a difference a year makes...

Good morning to all my crafting blogging buddies. I hope you have all had a lovely relaxing weeking and are now ready to face another week, what ever it may throw at us... I've got the sniffles again this morning and another cold sore, so fingers crossed my cold isn't returning. :-( Can't seem to shake this one off.

My scrap layout this morning is created with the gorgeous Jazymne Limited Editon papers from Bo Bunny. They are all glittered and shimmer beautifully in yummy lilacs, pinks, creams and greens.

Ava loves sitting amongst the plants in our rockery on the big rocks. This picture was taken in April 2011 when all the heathers were out. I took pictures of Ava sitting there last year and thought it would be nice to compare. Only thing is the pages are missing from my album, mmm I wonder whos borrowed those...

Have a great Monday and happy crafting.
Hugs Lynne xoxo

Just a quick card...

Good morning to all you crafty bloggers, hope the weather is better with you this morning than it is here in very wet Sheffield. It forecast sunshine and showers for us today we have had a few short burst of sun and some very very heavy showers it is also very blustery.

On our Wednesday evening class we made some quick cards using Distress Ink pads and Paper Artsy stamps. I have used DI in Spiced Marmalade, Dried Marigold, Antique Linen and stamped with Black Archival Ink matted and layer with black and orangery card stock.

I treated myself to a pack of Paper Artsy Sentiment stamps a couple of weeks ago. I have been using
them lots on my scrapbook layouts but one caught my eye the other day I had not noticed it before 'Warm Fuzzies' so me being me just had to use it lol Can anyone tell me what warm fuzzies are?

So wishing you all 'Warm Fuzzies'
Enjoy the rest of your weekend and happy crafting
Love and hugs Lynne xox

Oh forgot to say thank you to those of you that took time to email me this week to say blogger is still acting up and you can not leave comments. I too have had a few problems not been able to get on some blogs, fingers crossed it will be sorted soon.

Scrapbooking...

A few weeks ago I was asked if I could come up with a wedding layout for our Thursday evening scrapbooking classes. This was the design I came up with. The flowers are cut from a sheet of Basic Grey Curio - Camellia
I inked a sheet of cream 12 x 12 Cardstock Warehouse with Victorian velvet and all of the flower edges. I placed a 6" strip of lace across the middle of the page with the photo on top, decoupaged all the flowers using Pinflair Glue.
I have cut a cream journal tag with T!ms styled labels die inked with Victorian Velvet and tucked under the flowers at the bottom. Although I haven't done the journalling yet, such a good match you can hardly see it.

Hope you all have a lovely weekend and the sun is shinning where you are.

Yet Another Scrapbook page

For last weeks scrapbooking class layout I used Bo Bunny Flower child papers for my design. These are a very bright mix of orange and yellows through to lime greens ideal for sunny days and holiday pages. The circles are cut from a sheet of Flower child Love Beads I cheated on some and used an assortment of circle and scalloped punches to cut them out. I used the various sized punches to punch yellow, rust, and stream coloured cardstock to mat and layer on to. I have used foam pads of different thickness 1mm, 2mm, and 3mm to give the page more dimension.

The backing paper is called Free Bird from the same collection.

I would not usually use these colours and felt a bit out of my comfort zone while creating this page, but it was well received at class and everybody loved it.

All that leaves me to say is Thank Crunchie it Friday!

The corner is a quarter cut from a Bo Bunny Gabrielle die cut sheet

'Good Times' & 'Special Memories' are from the new Paper Artsy stamp set  Hot Pick Sentiments 03

Scrapbooking class a couple of weeks ago...

Good morning all my crafting blogging buddies, how are you all this morning. I won't say bright although the  sun is trying to push itself through the clouds this morning here in Sheffield but it is still a bit nippy as they say.

I came onto blogger earlier just after 8am to blog this post and there was no facility to upload pictures, all very strange. But hey ho it all seems to be working fine now so fingers crossed.

This is the layout I designed for scrapbooking class a couple of weeks ago. The papers are Basic Grey Origins. Tim Holtz tattered leaves die which I love and works great with these papers don't you think?

The pictures are from last summer, the morning after my 50th birthday party, we are all sat drinking orange juice! I wonder why? lol I was thinking of putting a title on 'The morning after' Love the pic of Ben wearing Ava's sun hat.

Have a great day and happy crafting. If you have time please leave a comment I love reading them and I can pop by and visit you too. Don't forget the new BINGO challenge that started yesterday over on our challenge blog Anything Goes
