Paper Roses.

Well it's the weekend again! This week seems to have gone over with a blink of the eye. Looking forward to tomorrow Bobbie (my daughter) and I are taking my Mum to Chesterfield. We plan to fit in a little retail therapy before meeting Kyla, Ben and little Ava for lunch. So more on that tomorrow.

I made a couple of birthday cards yesterday. Here is one of them I think it is safe to show as it should have arrived this morning.

The backing paper is from one of the new 6x6 paper stacks from Wild Rose Studio - Milton & Co the pack contains 36 sheets - 12 designs 3 sheets of each £4.99 The colours in this pack are green, orange, brown and white, floral and butterflies.

I have used the Tilda baking stamp from Magnolia as the lady I have made the card for likes baking and brings delicious muffins and cakes to class. Petaloo flowers MS frond punch for leaves finished off with a charm and some stickles.

This week I joined in with WOYWW so you might have seen this paper rose lurking on my desk or one like it  made from newspaper. I have made a few of these this week

they look great sprayed with Glimmer Mist, Crafty Notion sprays or something similar. For this one I have used Gold Crafty Notions spray

Let me know what you think.

  1. Love the card Lynne. I've got a thing for orange at the moment, not normally my style but it seems to suit the season. The roses look amazing are they difficult to make?
