You can make several flower clusters with one 12 x 12 sheet. I have enough left to make a second page. First of all I cut out all the full groups of flowers and then cut out the part ones from around the edge of the paper added double sided pads and placed on top of full group with a few MS punched leaves. Decorated with Stickles and light blue Viva pearl pen. Punched a band with MS loop punch and added to side of layout added white pen dashed lines to look like faux stitching.
I have cut and shadowed the title with the Story Book cartridge on the Cricut. Highlighted the letters with more light blue pearl pen. I have finished off my layout with some free hand ice white pearl pen flourishes.
The photo is my Dad with his Mum and four sister's. I think the occasion was my Grandmas 90th birthday, got to check that one out.
I have only been able to visit a very few blog this weekend. I have a problem with my hands which causes them to swell slightly now and again so I have been trying to rest them. Please accept my apologies and I will try and get round later in the week. Thanks for stopping by Lynne x

ReplyDeleteLynne, Beautiful layout.I love cutting out flowers and the nostalgic look of it. Sorry I could not get down there this weekend. It was our first weekend back and Belle had parties all weekend. Yes that was us at the workshop. I did not see you?? This was the first class I was able to attend with Lance as I always had to work when he came to our store. Actually it was the first class I have been able to attend anywhere here since moving to England. Hoping to get down there soon. Hope your hands are feeling better soon.
