Thank you Lucy!

One of my layout from yesterdays Scrapbooking workshop. The photos are of Alfie when he was just five weeks old, he is now nearly two and a half years old and weighs six stone!!

The die cut background is from GCD Studios-Pin Drop from the Canta collection. The blue panel has a small white flower with a black spot in the centre. It has a pre-punched hole at every point, I have glued a black dew drop in every other. Layered onto black textured American Crafts (AC) cardstock.

For the black and white flowers I have punched white and black AC cardstock using a large and medium EK Sucess Daisy punch leaves and butterflies MS punches. I inked around the edges of the die cut panel and white flowers with faded jeans. Finished off with light blue Viva pearl pen on flowers and butterflies and added a Prima bling flourish.

Look at this lovely card I have received from Lucy. Lucy comes to the children's Fimo classes in the school holidays this is to thank me for the lessons. Lucy if you do read this or your Mum...thank you so much.

Your cutting out is so neat and your paper piecing is perfect, it is so creative and I love the buttons. I will keep and treasure it, thank you. xx

I will pretend to be shy.

Will you help me if I look at the camera?

Hope you have all had a good weekend. Lynne x

Fabulous day!!

I have been lucky enough to go on a Ranger workshop today with Suzie, Claudine and Tim!! It was fantastic!! It was action packed non stop crafting all the way! First of all we did some melt art techniques with Suzie using the melt pot.

I actually preferred the other side on this so when sticking it on my frame I turned it over.

Next studio paint techniques with Claudine using studio paints and sticky back canvas. Followed by Tim who showed us some alcohol ink and distress techniques using the new distress ink pad colours which are gorgeous! They are a real must have!! All the new colours are great and complement the exciting range perfectly! They will all be available at Craft Den shortly, more on that later. We then put all the items made during the three crafting sessions to make this...

complete with me taking a picture!! lol
Off to bed now, another early start tomorrow.

This morning was the children's Fimo class. Every Monday morning during the school holiday we hold a Fimo class for children. Today the girls made these lovely little flower bears. They all looked so adorable...

The boys dressed the bears in there favorite football team colours, which also looked great and guess who forgot to take some piccies!! :-(

Another Get Well Card for Ann...

Another card for Ann to let her know we are thinking about her and wishing her a speedy recovery. This one is from all her crafting buddies at Craft Den. I went for cute this time with one of my favourite stamps 'Daisy' from Sugar Nellie.

I took this along with a pressie from everyone when I visited on Friday.

The doctors are talking about changing Anns medication again today, so fingers crossed... Ann was still not feeling any better at all yesterday. It has now been 13 weeks since Ann started being ill, that is such a long time to feel so poorly. Thank you for all your kind coments, emails and cards I pass them all on to Ann.

Pardo Jewellery Class

A great day was had by one and all at yesterdays Pardo jewellery class with Bev. I have taken a few pictures to show what great work was created.

The ladies all made fabulous beads with the lovely Pardo clay.

Everyone could choose two colours to work with. The clay was then marbled together. My pictures do not show the true colour of the beads at all!!

I have a few more pics from the class, which I will upload later, as blogger seems very slow this morning. I also have a picture of the lovely bear the girls will be making in the morning at the childrens class. Enjoy the rest of your weekend. Until later then, Lynne x
