New year resolution!

Every time I tidy up my craft stuff I put unfinished items in a box, well that was before my unfinished projects grew so they needed two boxes! So my new years resolutions was to finish off, some if not all before starting anything else.

Yesterday I finished one!! Yavvy! Not sure how long I will be able to keep it up, but it felt good to finish one. See what you think...

Firstly I applied gesso all over lightly with a baby wipe to a Maya Road blank scalloped edge chipboard book. When it was dry I applied Adirondack acrylic paint dabbers of each page to make a boarder. Cool Peri to front cover, eggplant to second page and lemonade to the third and then repeated on next 3 pages in same order.

I used Crafty Individuals 'Springtime' papers, Tim's stamps, ribbons, paper flowers and other assorted embellies, black viva pearl pen and a few doodles here and there.

Are you keeping to your new year resolutions?
