WOYWW

This is how my work space looks tonight, not very interesting. I had a tidy up earlier as I have some birthday cards to make and a couple of albums. I am back crafting on the dinning room table! My work room is on hold at the moment. I planned on having a big sort out over Easter, but the weekend came and went in a flash! seemed to go quicker than normal to say it was a long weekend.

These are some of the bits and piece I bought at the NEC to make a bag.

Silk rods, felt, ribbon, beads sequins, embroidery thread and silk cocoons

I broken down the fibres in the rods and split them laid them on to the the felt and machine stitched them down the middle, this stitching will be hidden with various embellishments.

I've attached a few sequin flowers and seed beads. I have more beads and embellishments to sew on, and a few french knots to add for decoration between the rods. I have already made a silk lining but still have the strap and fastener to make I hope to finish it this weekend.

  1. Very tidy table and well organised. I just love all of those things you bought at the NEC the colour is fantastic, blue is my favourite. If I had known about the cocoons you could have got me some. Can't wait to see the finished product.
    Really enjoyed tonight, thank you.

  15. Can't wait to see it finished, just love the colours. I feel a class or two or three coming on. The desk looks a bit tidy, forgot to get some of those doilys last night, forgot everything when I saw new colours of Pardo. Enjoyed last night. Finished it too. Don't know how you have the patience with us all, having to tell us everything more then once. Love Sandra x
