Don't children say the funniest things...

My layout from Thursday nights scrapbooking class. I have used Bo Bunny Vicky B die cut for the  background inked with Victorian Velvet DI mounted on a dark brown Bazzill using double sided tape and silicone at the corners to raise them slightly to add more interest.

The large flower is made using a clear acrylic Bo Bunny stamp set also from the Vicky B range stamped 4 times on Double Dot paper, cut out, inked, shaped and layered layered using silicone.

The flowers are all punched from a mix of pink, brown and green Bazzill using Martha Stewart and EK Success punches. I have used gold Liquid Pearls for the centre of the flowers a few gems added here and there all finished off with some Crystal Stickles which gives it a fabulous glistening shimmer.

Did you all enjoy the Royal Wedding on Friday? Didn't Kate look stunning? I was so pleased the weather held for them as it didn't look too promising first thing.

My grand-daughter Ava calls me Nannie and my Mum Nannie Kathy. While watching the wedding she said "look Nannie Kathy" when asked where she replied "yellow hat on" Ava started waving and 'Nannie Kathy' was waving back. Priceless! If only we could bottle these moments.

Wishing you all a wonderful bank holiday weekend.

Our grandchildren do indeed say some funny things don't they. I keep a little book and write down all Jack's little funny things and milestones and stuff for him to have when he's older - now I need to start one for Ellie.
