A few months ago I decide to make a quilt for my then expected Grandson. I bought all the fabric, wadding etc, as he is now over six weeks old and growing fast I thought I better get cracking. The fabric I bought had blocks of jungle animals on.
I have cut the blocks from the panel and sewn strips of contrasting fabric around the blocks and then shashed the blocks together with a second contrasting colour.
All layered up ready for quilting, so thats what I will be doing this and making the cot bumper.
What ever you are doing this weekend enjoy and lets hope the rain holds off.
Happy Crafting love and hugs Lynne xox

ReplyDeleteOOOH Lynne this is so nice. Just imagine his little face when he starts recognizing all the animals and the stories you or his parents can make up, what a pleasure that must be!!!!
