Hi to all my crafting blogging buddies I've got some very exciting news to share with you today. I have 2 cards in the May edition of Making Card magazine, how brilliant is that? The theme is wedding and ive gone with a shabby chic theme. Just can't tell you how chuffed I am, I am grinning from ear to ear!! :-)
For the first card I used papers from Kars Country Rose 6x6 pad, Its Only Words stamp set 4 from Ladybug CraftInk, Wooden heart which I painted with acrylics and distress paint techniques and decorated with a couple of flowers and some bling. I add a piece of blue lace to my punched border and a couple of heart pins to finish off.
For my second card I used GCD 8x8 Ella Blue paper pad. I cut a grunge board heart and wings with T!ms alteration die. Distressed them with mushroom and cloudy blue paint dabbers edged with InkaGold old gold wrapped brown thread around the heart twice added a Prima Say it with studs to finish off.
The article is called Rustic Nuptials on pages 66 and 67
Thanks for popping by and if you like what you see leave me a comment and I will pop over and check out what you have been up to.
