I have made another word album this time for a Golden Wedding Anniversary. This is for my sister in law and her husband. I decide to make it all gold and cream. First of all I painted around the edges of each letter in metallic gold metallic acyclic paint, and allowed to dry. After the paint had dried I taped all the letters front and back and covered in a assortment of cream glittered, flocked and embossed papers from Catterbox.
I punched some hearts from cream opalescent paper with a large MS heart punch. Then made a quick heart template by drawing round one of the punched hearts and cutting out slightly smaller. I then used the template to cut out gold shimmer card to back the punched hearts and decorated with gold Viva pearl pen.
I edged two sizes of E line Prima paper flowers with gold Stickles. When the Stickles had dried I layered a medium size flower on a larger one and made a centre with a cream paper rose also edged with gold Sizzix.
I cut an punched an assortment of gold and cream shapes to make the embellishments, champagne glasses, cherubs, hearts, labels etc.
Finished of by adding ribbon to the book rings. Happy Anniversary Pat & Bill hope you have a lovely time. Lynne x
