Flippin Men!

The new 'Flippin' A5 decoupage with backing sheets arrived last week and Julie has very kindly made these up for the stuido. Thank you Julie. When making up the 'Flippin' range we usually put a sheet of acetate in the apeture to fasten the decoupage on to show both the front and the back. These are dangling on a thread. As always my pictures do not do the cards justice...

I will try to take some more pictures tomorrow, but I am not promising they will be any better!!

This image makes a great card for any DIY person

I have put a piece of card behind to try and show how he is hanging.

Thank Crunchie it's Friday tomorrow!!

Lovely evening...

We had a great time at our Wednesday night craft class, Ann flutterbycrafter joined us. We have all missed Ann very much over the last few months, and it was great to have her back with us chatting, laughing, drinking coffee and of course we did manage to fit a bit of crafting in! lol Ann had made the most delicious lemon cake for us all... it was the best!! Thank you Ann we all really enjoyed it. Also thanks to Pat and Jill who were Ann's chauffeurs for the evening.

What do you do when the footballs on?

Play of course!! lol ....while BH watched the footy on the TV tonight, I got the melt pot out. Here a few of the pieces I made...

Whoops! this one is a bit too close up and blurred! Oh dear! lol

I have rubbed over with gold perfect pearls

I have used black UTEE and added perfect pearls and seed beads to finish off on the embossed ones

I have a project in mind that I can use them on...I will post pics when finished...so watch this space as they say!! :-)

I have also started making some more grunge paper flowers and taken some pictures this time! I saw them in Craft Stamper a few issues back and thought I would have a go. Really easy to make and very effective. They are now safely in a sealed box for tonight. If you remember Alfie ate the last ones and I hadn't even get any pics. lol

I have used the large flower stamp sheet from Elusive Images, cut out (BH did the cutting out for me!) inked with fired brick distress ink

this one is scattered straw, with a bit of fired brick, whoops! mustn't have been dry.
leave to dryt and add stickles. I have used fired brick distress stickles, love this effect.

Blogger is taking an absolute age to upoad my pictures so I will finish uplaoding the rest tomorrow, sorry! Lynne

Scrapbooking

Another of my layouts from Saturdays scrapbooking workshop. The papers are Bo Bunny Whoo Loves U from the Love Bandit collection. I just love all the Bo Bunny papers they are so yummy scrummy!

You can make several flower clusters with one 12 x 12 sheet. I have enough left to make a second page. First of all I cut out all the full groups of flowers and then cut out the part ones from around the edge of the paper added double sided pads and placed on top of full group with a few MS punched leaves. Decorated with Stickles and light blue Viva pearl pen. Punched a band with MS loop punch and added to side of layout added white pen dashed lines to look like faux stitching.

I have cut and shadowed the title with the Story Book cartridge on the Cricut. Highlighted the letters with more light blue pearl pen. I have finished off my layout with some free hand ice white pearl pen flourishes.

The photo is my Dad with his Mum and four sister's. I think the occasion was my Grandmas 90th birthday, got to check that one out.

I have only been able to visit a very few blog this weekend. I have a problem with my hands which causes them to swell slightly now and again so I have been trying to rest them. Please accept my apologies and I will try and get round later in the week. Thanks for stopping by Lynne x

Thank you Lucy!

One of my layout from yesterdays Scrapbooking workshop. The photos are of Alfie when he was just five weeks old, he is now nearly two and a half years old and weighs six stone!!

The die cut background is from GCD Studios-Pin Drop from the Canta collection. The blue panel has a small white flower with a black spot in the centre. It has a pre-punched hole at every point, I have glued a black dew drop in every other. Layered onto black textured American Crafts (AC) cardstock.

For the black and white flowers I have punched white and black AC cardstock using a large and medium EK Sucess Daisy punch leaves and butterflies MS punches. I inked around the edges of the die cut panel and white flowers with faded jeans. Finished off with light blue Viva pearl pen on flowers and butterflies and added a Prima bling flourish.

Look at this lovely card I have received from Lucy. Lucy comes to the children's Fimo classes in the school holidays this is to thank me for the lessons. Lucy if you do read this or your Mum...thank you so much.

Your cutting out is so neat and your paper piecing is perfect, it is so creative and I love the buttons. I will keep and treasure it, thank you. xx

Ava in her pjs this morning

Do I look cute?

I will pretend to be shy.

OK I'm not

I'm not looking I am too busy trying to get the top off your glue pen!!

Will you help me if I look at the camera?

Hope you have all had a good weekend. Lynne x
