This is my crafty space this morning back on the dinning room table. Love my new work area in my craft room but love being able to look out the window while crafting, more....

Thought I would join in with WOYWW this week  as I have not joined in for ages

Now the InkGold has been added to all the edges I have started making my ebellies to decorate the inside of each compartment. I have chosen a to keep it very neutral with just a hint of colour... will see how it goes,  my projects have a habit of changing mid stream and never turn out how they set off. lol Isn't that what crafting is all about no rights or wrongs just enjoying?

Good morning crafters. Sorry I have not been blogging for a while, apart from my on going Internet connection problems, we have had a lot going on here at home. Not much crafting been done since Christmas so now a lot of catching up to do. I have many WIP to finish ready for the new timetable, that is over due some what.

Thank you all for your kind thoughts and well wishes last week for about my Aunties funeral. It was a lovely service and nice to catch with all the family just wish the circumstances could have been different.

Now for WOYWW not joined in for ages, so I thought I would share with you one of my many WIP that I am now going to settle down to finish, fingers crossed. I will let you know how I get on. I also have a few things to show that we have been making in class, which I hope to blog later in the week. We made a fab bird cage last week in our Wednesday night class using T!ms caged bird die, more on that later.

My work space this morning 'A stitch in time' the title I have given to one of my altered book workshops coming up next month. This picture is of the front cover.



Really enjoying making this, cant wait until the weekend when I am hoping to get this and a lot of other projects finished. Morning all, hope you are all well on this bright and sunny October morning.

I have just edited our challenge blog 'Anything Goes' and managed to delete Mr Linky! :-( if you had already linked please could you be kind enough to do it again, I know it is a pain and I am sorry, really I am, I will try not to do it again! promise....until the next time! lol

I thought I would join in with What's On Your Work Desk Wednesday (WOYWW) as I have not been able to for weeks while we have had Internet problems.

So what is on my work space this week? I have been working on the dinning room table again, not for much longer though as we are having people over at the weekend and if they want to eat, it is going to be a problem, a big problem!!! lol I am not going to show you the project I am currently working on until it is finished.

and this is one of the chairs! on top and underneath! lol Anywhere there is a little space, I can fill it!!! lol

So that's my work space this morning, now I am off to see what you have on yours.

Good morning all. Can't believe it, Wednesday again, they seem to come round so quickly. I have neglected my blog over the last couple of days I have been busy scrapbooking.

As it is Wednesday it is time for WOYWW. If you are wondering what it is all about pop over to Julias. These pics are of how I left my craft space last night. I have cut most of the titles for the scrapbook I am currently working on. Most of them are cut on the Storybook cartridge with a shadow background. BH has been helping me sticking them together.

A lot of the pages are finished most just need the finishing touches, the bit that takes all the time, but also the bit I love most adding all the embellies and most of all the bling.

I apologise for not getting round to everyone's desk last week I was late joining in on Wednesday evening and managed to visit a lot of desks on Thursday after that blogger was acting up. I could get on some blogs, although unable to view pics or leave comments... whats that all about? Has anyone else had this problem or do you know what causes it? It has had me pulling my hair out this week!

OK I have had a cup of coffee and a walk around the garden, now I am calmer I will try once more and then I am giving in!

Some WIP this week half finished pages for the 12 x 12 scrapbook ablum and a box of pics waiting to be scrapped, there are more but they are not going to load this morning, and I am not one to give in!

This week bargain buys from Wilkos Mini Sharpie pens 4 for £1.79 and you can choose your own colours, how good is that?

I did buy some more but unfortunately blogger just isn't playing ball this morning so this where I scream, spit and hiss and given in!!

Hope you are having a better day. Like I said earlier it can only get better, can't it?? Please say yes! :-)

Yay!!! Phew thats taken some doing today. A few days a go I posted this page sat on a cream background, I have now layered it on a sheet of green Bazzill Basic, there are some more decoupaged roses to add.

the small ones have a metal loop in the top ideal for putting on a ring and attatching to your tote bag.

My day hasn't got any better... I have dropped a yogurt went every where including down me, broke the kettle and mislaid some money... :-(

A bit late I know but I thought I would show you what's been on my desk today, and it is not my work. I had to go out today and my DD looked after the studio for me and when I got back this is what she had been making, remind you of anything you have seen here recently??? lol

It was great to come back and find her crafting, she loves scrapbooking and very rarely finds the time. |We have arranged to have a crafty day together on Monday, which I am really looking forward too.

Love the colours in this one.

I will get some pictures on Monday of the finished albums.

Good morning to you all. I went to bed early last night with the head ache of all head aches, but thank goodness this morning it has gone.

It is Wednesday morning and that can only mean one thing here in blogland WOYWW
and if you don't know what I am talking about pop over to Julias blog and have a look. Julia is the leader of WOYWW it is when we all get to have a good snoop around and share pics of desks, craft rooms, drawers even on top of washing machines any where crafters create, its fun and and a good way of meeting more crafting buddies.

OK, so what is on my dinning room table this morning.
I have three more word albums ordered:

They are all taped up ready for covering.

BH cut the sister book from chipboard as I could not get a pre cut one. He has made a really good job of it too, might have to give him the job on a regular basis. :-)

A few weeks ago I was given a bag of old dress making patterns and I have only just got round to having a look at them. There are a lot, more than I first thought so look out for some projects using these.

               
Talking of sewing it is this months theme for our ATC swap, if you love making ATCs and would like to join us drop one in the post before next Tuesday with a SAE.
mmm I wonder if I could use some tissue from one of the patterns on mine... what this space.

just how I left it last nighyt. it is a bit different this week as I have been sorting out my beading stuff, not done any for ages and thought I might make some up to sell for our charity event.

So what's on my workspace this week? I am still crafting on the dinning room table much to hubby's frustration. BH is a very tidy and organised person, and I am the total opposite! lol very messy and untidy any little space and I will fill it!

Morning all, it is a nice bright morning here in Sheffield again. The family have all gone off on there jollies this morning for a week, so peace reins! lol Will miss my cuddles with Ava most :-(

So what is on my work desk this week. I have a shadow box frame all prepped and ready to go, as yet I am not too sure what is to be done with it! so watch this space. There are also various bits of decoupage strewn around as this is what has kept me seated while ill. I can not just sit and rest, I can't even sit and watch TV i have to have something to do. So over the last week I have had a lap tray and sat cutting and snipping to my hearts content. I don't do much decoupage as I don't usually have the time. Thank you all so much for your texts emails and phone calls, I was touched by every ones concern, thank you. I am off to the docs shortly for some blood tests so better stop rambling and get on with it! :-)

when it flips she has a huge gateaux at behind it, my kinda gal! lol The only good thing about being ill for a week is I have lost weight, not sure how much as Ben took the scales to weigh the cases! just know by how my jeans fit this morning.

this one is a card order from my Mum, don't know who she knows who baths in front of the fire!! lol

Remeber when... I have made an aperture card with a A3 piece of brown card for this, I have used silicone for the picture and 3mm foam pads to build the aperture out.

Morning all, can't believe it is Wednesday again already. Sorry for the lack of blogging over the last week I have been unwell since the weekend, although I have managed to fit a little crafting in. Today I feel very dizzy and faint the worse I have been in fact. I thought I would sit for a while and take things easy and see how it goes. Being ill has put me back on a lot of things including getting the Craft Dens Studio timetable printed.

Well this has got to be a first for me! Joining in WOYWW before the 12th hour!

So what is on my work space this week? Well I am still crafting on the dinning room table and driving BH mad!! He is very tidy and organised and I'm neither, poor man what he has to put up with! :-)

Last weekend we didn't have any staying over visitors, that's the only time I clear the decks if we have people staying. The rest of the time Bob and I sit at one end of the table there is just enough room for 2 place mats and 2 coasters, what more do you want? lol

A half finished princess carriage that has been like this a while and might be like it a little while longer too, has I have lost a part! Another 'HAPPY' book  for a silver wedding, just been gathering everything together to get it started, to the right a card I made yesterday and near the back a card I have been working on using stamp tapestry peg stamps to go around the aperture to frame a pic of Ava for my Auntie.

Some storage ideas for you, these are from Wickes DIY store and great for storing your hardware bits and bobs in. I have 2 but already planning on buying some more they are so useful.

Lots of useful sized compartments inside.

I keep all my idea-ology stuff in

This is from IKEA to keep cleaning products in, but as I don't do cleaning!! I keep my dabbers, distress paints, Claudine's etc in, just the job for carrying too!

Well I haven't blogged for a few days but lots to show and tell tonight.

First off all WOYWW sorry, I didn't manage to join in last week. There are a few tags that are drying, a little bird house I am preparing for a workshop, dabbers and stapler and ribbon.

The white one has gesso on the next two have Viva Terra on, this is a great paste for making textured backgrounds. There are several colours in the range, when the paste dries it can be painted over with acrylic paint, so it doesn't really matter what colour you use.

The tag to the left hand side of this picture has already been painted with acrylic paint, it is now ready for embellies. If you would like to join in WOYWW take a picture of your worsk space blog it and then pop over to Julias blog to link it so we can all come over for a nosey.

We had a Sizzix delivery today of T!m's Alteration dies: Gadget Gears, Elegant Flourish,  Movers and Shapers Ornamental, Key Holes, the next delivery is due towards the end of next week with the rest of range.

Craft Den Studio is celebrating it's 2nd birthday this week. I does not seem like two years at all. It has really flown by and I have enjoyed every minute of it. I have meet so some lovely people and made so many wonderful friends! Thank you ladies Craft Den would not be the same with out you all xxx
