Who has been eating the Christmas cup cakes?

I have made a few more Christmas cards today, I still have a lot more to make and time is closing in, last day for psoting on Monday, yikes!! I have made 8x8 cards for all the family and the postage is costing a small fortune.


This card is made using Bo Bunny St Nick, one of my favorites.
Magnolia stamp, Santas little helper, that will be Ava next year. :-)

I have received loads of hand made cards from lots of very talented and creative people. Over the next few days I plan to blog them all as they are all so gorgeous.

Yesterday, Natasha gave me a box containg 6 lovely home made cupcakes all decorated beautifully, I was going to keep them for Christmas day...

but there are two missing already, mmm I wonder where they have gone...

At last some blogoversary candy, better late than never!!
I remembered to take the picture of the blog candy and then lost the cable to down load my pictures from the camera!! Just a little bit of candy to celebrate my little blog being 1 and to say thank you for all the lovely coments I have received over the year, I have made some lovely crafting friends, thank you too you all.
The candy is a selection of crafting goodies from My Minds Eye Bloom & Grow collection: A box of chipboard 62 double sided alphabets, a box of buttons containing 100s of buttons with matching fibres, one sheet of glittered rub-ons, 48 sheets of 2"x 12" strips of paper 4 of each design 24 are embossed and 6 wood mounted stamps to match!

The pens are fabulous for both scrapbooking and card making. They dry with a lovely dome shape and quicker than similar products. We now have all colours back in stock.

Quick Christmas cards.

A few quick Christmas cards I made last week for orders... in a hurry!!
I used the Bo Bunny St Nick stamp, lightly coloured with red water colour pencil used dry, Paper Artsy Rum & Raisin Christmas papers, only 3 of the designs in this pack are Christmas the rest can be used for all occasions. Matted and layered with a dark forest green card stock punched with a Martha Stewart punch.




This order was nothing with flowers or cute!! I have used a glittered Christmas tree sticker, blinged it up with some gems, Bo Bunny St Nick and double dot paper, Cuttlebug snowflake die, added some white tulle and a couple of Craftwork cards sentiments.

It's that time of year again, cards, shopping...

Sorry for lack of blogging this last few days, life just seems to get taken over at this time of year, card making, shopping, more card making, more shopping... I spent a lovely day shopping in Chesterfield with my daughter on Monday, we meet up with Ben and Ava for breakfast in BHS.

BH put our trimmings up on Saturday and a few twinkling lights around the shelves. I haven't been to get the tree yet! When Ava came to visit her little face was a picture... she spent the whole time looking round, pointing and smiling. Here are a couple of pics with Grandad looking at the fairy lights, the pictures are a little bit dark, Ava is pointing behind her to the lights.





Look at this beautiful card I have received from some of my lovely ladies who attend my classes and workshops. It has some beautiful messages written inside, I filled up when I read it... thank you to you all, it means so much...thank you




and my present... THANK YOU. I was a bit overwhelmed on Wednesday as you all know...


and here's why...this lovely reindeer has a cotton bag tied to it which was stuffed with Meadowhall gift vouchers!!

Quick stock updates...

We have now uploaded the Ten Second Studio metals, mats, tape and basic tool kits on to our web site here we will be adding the TSS moulds to the site in the next few days.

We are expecting another delivery of the very popular Creative Metal beginners kits on Monday, the kits are available to order here along with design sheet A and B, border moulds A and B, adhesive tape, paper stumps and more tools All orders placed over the weekend and on Monday will be posted out on Tuesday.



We have also had a delivery of Bazzill including bling, seven embossed designs and basic in 30 beautiful colours.

Fimo Christmas Tree Decorations

We are lucky enough to have Fimo Bev back in the studio on Monday 21st December to make some fabby last minute Fimo Christmas tree decorations. Bev is such a great tutor that she is in big demand, so we are really pleased that we have been able to book a Children's class on Monday morning 21st December 10:00 - 12:00 to make these fabulous Christmas tree decorations.


Aren't they great?? Might have to join in and make Ava some for her first tree.

Tonight we have been out for the Craft Den Christmas meal, and what a great time we have all had. I don't think I will want to eat for the rest of the week!! We had a four course Christmas Farye. For starters I had the potato and leek soup, followed by Turkey and all the trimmings, Christmas pud and brandy sauce. I had no room left for the coffee and mince pies!! lol

We had a raffle which raised £45 for the Sheffield's children's hospital scanner appeal. Mo drew the raffle for us, thank you Mo, Pat had the winning ticket. Well done Pat.

I would like to say thank you for the lovely presents and cards I received this evening. I have just sat and read all the comments you have written in my card... Thank you. I am sorry I didn't do a speech, not very good at things like that, and to be honest I was a bit over whelmed... Thank you for making it such a great evening and I really do appreciate all your kindness... I hope someone took some pictures during the night!!

Well I am off to bed now, lots to do tomorrow...

Well I have had a early Christmas present today, a new pump! not quiet the same as a laptop!! The new pump was fitted this afternoon, Yipee!! no more washing pots in bowls in the bath!! It has been a little bit like camping, but not as much fun! lol

Ava when for her check up today she weighs 1st 6lb and is 77cm tall and she is apparently under weight for her height!!

Well I am having an early night ready for tomorrow's Craft Den Christmas meal.

Get me out of here!!!

It has been one of those days today, you know the ones where you are busy all day running round, sorting stuff out, making phone calls... but at the end of the day you have nothing to show for it!! Well that is the day I have had today! I like to have something to show for my day!! lol

Yesterday the pump in the laundry room had started leaking, water, water every where!! With it being Sunday we couldn't do anything about it and today no where has one in stock. So we have one on order and hopefully it will be here and fitted tomorrow.

Although I did managed to get a couple of cards made today they just need a few finishing touches and then I will take some pictures.

A few weeks ago I told you I had 2 secrets - the first one I have already revealed, the new paper room, which you are all loving and will love even more when the rest of the new paper ranges arrive... we have had some embossed Bazzill and more Bazzill Dotted Swiss arrive on Thursday.

I can now reveal my second secret - we will be stocking Ten Second Studio metals and moulds which work great along side Walnut Hallow Creative Metal products. TSS products will be in our shop and added to the website later this week. I will let you know when it arrives.

Don't forget our last ATC challenge for this year... December with the theme 'Christmas' so while you are making your Christmas cards you can make a little ATC!! lol

There are no classes on Tuesday or Wednesday evening this week. We have our Craft Den Christmas meal on Wednesday evening, which I am really looking forward too!

The new safety gates are now fitted, much to Ava's dismay, that should slow her down a bit! lol She had managed to get to one step off the top of the stairs today, so I think we just got the gates in time!!

Makka Pakka and The Trombliboos

Had a fantastic time today Christmas shopping with Ava. Although it has been a bit of a learning curve for me to say the least!! lol I now know about all the little people that belong to the night garden.

We bought and sent to Santa a Makka Pakka

we also bought a musical gazebo including Upsy Daisy, Igglepiggle and Makka Pakka, yes we have two Makka Pakka's!! lol


Ava had a sit on a rocking horse, pink pony and a cuddle with Winnie the Pooh no wonder she is looking tired here!! lol

Can't wait for Christmas now it is going to be so much fun, in the night garden!! lol

On Saturday Ava managed to get in one of the kitchen cupboards, take out a bottle of cooking oil open the lid and pour it all over the kitchen floor!! So today we also bought some safety gates, which haven't gone to Santa!! Hope you have all had as much fun this weekend as we have. :-)

The weekend of the Children in need apeal Ava, Ben and Kyla were staying with us. Ben was sat reading the papers when Ava spotted her favorite TV charachter Iggle Piggle was in.

New Paper Room!!

Sorry for lack of blogging over the last few days, but we have been busy, busy, busy!!

I can now reveal one of my secrets!! Craft Den now has a new paper room!! One room full of gorgeous papers, 12x12 single sheets, 12x12, 6x6, 8x8 pads, scrapbook albums in various sizes, A4 pick n' mix card more Bazill Basic, Bling, Dotted Swiss and beautiful embossed. Now we have the new paper room we will be able to stock even more yummy new paper ranges....

The paper stands have been replaced by slat wall in the main shop part which has made such a great display area. It has also made more room in the studio area. We are really pleased with the new layout and judging by all the lovely comments made over the last few days you all agree that it has made a great difference.

Our Magnolia stamp delivery arrived on Monday including the beautiful 1st issue of the Christmas Winter magazine. If you would like to reserve a copy of the 2nd issue send a email to info@craftden.co.uk

On Tuesday evening we started a new scrapbooking class. There are now 3 scrapbooking classes per week on our new timetable which can be found here. We also have plans for adding a regular weekend crop to the timetable in the new year. More information about that soon.

On Wednesday evening we made Magnolia Christmas cards using Copics and last night was our weekely scrapbooking class.

For several weeks now a few of us have been trying to get Jill to start a blog. Jill doesn't have the time at the moment to start a blog and rather spend what little time she has, crafting! So until Jill gives in and starts a blog she will be sharing mine!
